I can confirm as well. /media/file1 has a directory called "pictures"
that upon a renaming and remount causes the "picture cd" message to go
away.
There should have been more foresight in this; it's too simple that
anything with a "pictures" directory should be called a picture cd.

I can't duplicate this in Intrepid after recreating the situation that
exposed the original problem. Since we don't have any reports of this

Problem observed here. I tried to upgrade to Intrepid using `update-manager
-d`, but encountered this error. Gnome is in a bad state now (I have to go to a

After more aggregate experience, I can confirm that plugging in or
unplugging an Apple USB keyboard seems to cause or aggravate the issue.
Often the applet doesn't crash, but rather shows a default configuration

I insert a CD and for the first minute or so it will not play any of the
songs off the CD or my harddrive. I click the play button and it does

That photo gave me a problem in every program I have on my computer
(although Eye of Gnome worked the best). This example I couldn't open
correctly in gThumb at all. I'm going to have to wait to confirm until
I get to faster computer. Can anyone else confirm?

Btw, can anyone try opening the example picture in Firefox, and see if
it crashes? (I recently broke a lot of things on my system which it
difficult to tell if it was a real problem)

I can confirm this as well. It's rather annoying, yet it's of lower
importance. To all the skeptics, open up the system monitor and then
move your cursor around over the network monitor panel applet and
observe the applet monitor dip yet the actual graph from the system
monitor not change...

Here's something that can help... I am not responsible if you trash your
email, so do the following at your own risk. I do not know if there's
supposed to be more to the schema of the Templates table. I just guessed
it until it complained no longer.

The first two words weren't underlined, the third one was.
But *it matters where you click* on the third word. If you click between:
ар => no (spell suggestion)
рф => yes
фо => yes
ог => no

Another update. Got it to happen again, this time as soon as I started
downloading. Rhythmbox is definitely still working along, it's just the
UI that stops. When I killed the app and started it again the progress
indicator jumped to 60% immediately.
