Installing any number of plugins which as nautilus image plugin or bzr-
gtk will quickly show that each right click menu has it's own and
distinctive menu ordering for each of these plugins.
What is happening is that these plugins are being processed and their
results are not
This bug is actually in gstreamer. When pulseaudio is not running,
gstreamer fails to fall back on a different output, regardless of the
output sink selected in the GNOME preferences. That results in Totem's
inability to play anything, printing out the message

I can still reproduce this, even on Intrepid gnome-power-manager
2.24.0-0ubuntu3. See the screenshot. The notification icon shows
green. The tooltip shows 60%. But if I click on the battery, it shows

Remember that sometimes DNS is not properly setup. In my organization
the computer dept has a mixed setup of resolving IP addresses via DNS
and via SMB/NETBIOS/WINS or something samba-related.
I had this exact problem until I tried to ping the address book server
from my linux machine, telling me
