Maybe it works for Vista, but it broke every smb share on my 4 - 8.04.1
1 winXP pro SP2 network today. It also broke it on my home network with
2 ubuntu 8.04.1 and 1 WinXP sp2 machine. It was working perfectly until
this morning. I have 6 Ubuntu machines and all 6 are affected.

So, the problem is that python-gnome2-extras declares a dependency
against libgdl-gnome-1-0, which is no longer built by the gdl package.

I have the same issue in Evolution from Gnome 2.24.0 in Intrepid Ibex
but a different way of producing it.
1. Click on System -> Appearance->Customize Theme->Colors
2. Change the color of "Selected Items"
3. View the color is displaying in Evolution -> Edit -> Preferences -> Mail

I'd like to add that you don't even have to do any tricks with showing
hidden files, simply tab swapping will kill the scrollbar. Resizing the
window brings it back for the active tab, but loses the scrollbar(s) for
the other tabs.

Yes, You can call it a wish, but for common users it will be seen as a
bug.
This is not a perfect setup and it is not user friendly. If Ubuntu shall
become mainstream, normally used function shall be easy to access and
not hidden on a menu.
