gnome-sound-properties is working properly for me now, ie the Sounds tab is not disabled and I can select and play sounds.
But if you change one or more sounds (the theme then changes to 'Custom') and then change the theme to another (eg ubuntu or default), it loses the custom theme along with all your new settings, which is damned annoying. -- gnome-sound-properties cannot set sound preferences https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/258703 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
