Hi,
Thanks for trying it. Unfortunatly I am still having this problem. It only
happens when I'm on my weak wireless connection, not when wired or strong
signal, so it may be worth trying with some atrificially introduced network
problems to replicate this?

change and not a bug for some reason it was set to open totem. I changed
it back to open folder and that fixed it.

Sorry, I meant to respond when I received a new iPod. My old one was always
glitchy in iTunes, also. It eventually stopped working altogether and I
received a new one from the folks at Apple.
Rhythmbox has always been a little hesitant to work with the Classic, due to
all that encrypted firmware.

I think these shouldn't even be Suggests. When gnome-volume-manager was
used to manage DVDs and CDs, these applications would make sense in
concert with gnome-volume-manager. As this is no longer the case, I
don't understand any use-case where these applications are relevant to
users of gnome-vol

I don't know about the plugin, it's a hand-made minimal example to show the
developers that this line causes the problem:

Mount /home with NFS.
Create a launcher on the desktop.
Edit the launcher, and click on the "Launcher" tab. The dialog box closes.
This only happens when /home is mounted from NFS.

After disabling my video driver, everything is fine now! Thank you so
much! I no longer experience the issue. Ubuntu went back to its default
driver and I am no longer experiencing the hang at login. Thanks for
helping me with this issue.

Yes, i guess this impact only users playing with WM so maybe we can
safely consider than someone playing with WM is able to fix WM related
issues even though it would have been better to autodetect the WM while
generating the session file.

I unchecked ati video driver. Restarted. Then it did not do it. Now this
is what is weird.I rechecked it again, and rebooted, and now it does
not do it anymore? I don't know what happened, but it appears fixed...
