After I added Google Calendar as my default calendar for Evolution, I
cannot click on the calendar applet anymore -- without crashing gnome-

I can actually confirm this. The problem is that gnome-desktop-
environment depends on gnome-keyring-manager, which doesn't actually
exist.

The svn trunk version of gthumb uses exiv2 instead of libexif, and it
seems to work better with these images (no garbage strings).
However, it seems clear that these images do not have correctly coded
orientation tags. I don't know how a camera could mess that up. exiftool
reports the orientation

Sebastian, thanks for your reply. I'm using Ubuntu 8.04.1, with all
updates installed. I've attached .xsession-errors. The notification area
is just the Ubuntu default in the upper right corner, left of the clock.
It's kind of weird that the Volume Control applet doesn't seem to be
suffering from

mimetype information.

When doing drag and drop of artwork from rithmbox to a folder (to use
the picture externally), nautilus seems to crash and restart again. The
image is not copied.
