I have about the same problem:
- Start a song
- Drag the progressbutton and notice that the song stop playing and the
application freezes when you drag progressbutton. Keep dragging it left and
right, it will always happen. Happened with multiple mp3's.
Backtrace (From Pedro's suggested website)
I've found another way to produce this. Create a new weekly
appointment. Change the date for any one instance (from the appointment
page, not he recurrence page).

você está com problemas no driver de áudio.
Se estiver usando o Ubuntu mesmo, tente os seguintes passos:
1. Vá até o menu Sistema->Preferências->Som
2. Verifique qual o driver de som está ativo na opção "Música

OK, this was strange. Out of the blue, Evolution popped up a handful of
appointment alerts. So apparently part of the application was running in
the background. I decided to attempt to launch Evolution and it launched

Crashed when opening trying to open a MKV with SRT subtitles. The same
MKV with subtitles was already opened and playing in gxine.
After close gxine, Totem worked OK.

Very weird:
I did the following steps:
cd ~
mkdir .Trash
chmod 700 .Trash
and restarted gdm. And suddenly the trash worked fine, but the folder
has disapeared again. Recreating the folder results in an Trash always
marked full (in nautilus and the applet) but nothing visible (or
invisble - yes t

I would like to help with this bug, please tell me how!
I use sbackup to make backups of my home partition. sbackup runs as root
and saves all the folders and files as root.
Until now I did
~$ gksudo nautilus &
to start nautilus and than use the CD/DVD burning thing to burn the
folders
The 'iface eth1000 inet dhcp' trick didn't quite wok for me, but I'm not
entirely sure I have the same issue. I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 with a
wireless connection (Intel 3945), and I use Opera rather than firefox,
and what I've been experiencing is when I boot Ubuntu, the network
manager applet shows
