The only way i could describe this white screen is like the screen that you would imagine is the "your slow computer is taking forever to load this screen" screen...if you get what I mean. Anyway, when this happens, terminal cannot be exited normally, i - have to force exit. + have to force exit. I then have to restart my computer to get terminal + working. I have the ATI Radeon HD 2600 card. I am running Ubuntu Hardy Heron.
