The new clock applet crashes on clicking it. I've got to reboot my
laptop by pressing the power button for 3 secs then as the complete
gnome panel hangs and even rebooting doesn't work any more.

The issue seems similar to

to try if the new version fix the issue when it'll be available to the

I find that the current Gutsty rhythmbox fails in the way "who_cares"
describes above, but it does work (with a complaint) with the "-n"
option. Like this:

I upgraded my packages with sru update (In hardy proposed) one month ago
and I had no more the issue. I have hardy Heron 64 bit on acer laptop,
and for me the problem is resolved.
