I have just tested with a user created for the test. The bug still
appears. I have two layouts configured: 'USA Macintosh' and 'France
Alternative'.
When using the 'USA Macintosh' layout and the macbook qwerty keyboard,

All I can say right now is that I can confirm the problem with exchange
calendars. Like my predecessors I rely on my calendar and having
exchange appointments not only appear bolded but with a nice description

Well, I guess that's one way to dispose of a bug. So for Hardy, the
warning was just removed altogether (probably due to the change to
gvfs), the now invalid shortcut in Nautilus is visible but unaccessible,
and the eight-month-old bug is marked invalid.

I had the similar problem. The problem appeared after I had upgraded
from Ubuntu 7.10 to Ubuntu 8.04 (64bit, Intel Core-Duo) via the update
manager. The system worked more or less fine for a couple of weeks. One
of the glitches was that it took a 10-20 seconds after login to
recognize the network c

driven me to Debian so I won't care what you fix after tomorrow.

The behavior started after installing VMWare Server 2.0 beta. However,
yesterday I ran update manager and rebooted (required for SSH bug), and it
