I've the same problem here.
In gutsy, everything worked alright.
Then i upgraded to hardy and copy/paste in calendar doesn't work anymore.

I am unable to install Ubuntu 7.10 in my D drive even after creating the
necessary space. The error message that I get is related to a microcode.
I can only use the CD to load Ubuntu in safe graphics mode which also

I can confirm it too
When playing xvid files there isn't a smooth play back in the video.
Parts of the picture will get blurry every so often.
It has more do with decoding because if you play back around the
position where this occurred, the picture is fine.
I don't get this problem in Smplayer.
I've been running Webilder since before this bug appeared. I never had a
problem on Ubuntu amd64 7.10
With the bug in force, Webilder cannot change the wallpaper, neither can Gnome.
Gnome registry gets updated but the change only occurs if I restart X.

Yes, Gnome packages usually get updated regularly and long into the
development cycle. I guess this one was missed because it's not
installed by default any longer and is not given priority (IMHO sad
since I find it much better than eog). And finally, someone has to sit
down and do the merge, that

Ludicrous. AFAIK there is at least another person with this problem,
bug #210746, which is _also_ tagged as "incomplete" even though the
submitter did everything you asked from him/her and nobody has
answered in a week. But it's OK, I don't want to start the typical
