UPDATE.
This bug lead to a worse thing.
Programs like firefox 3 beta 3 or gnome-screenshot take "Desktop" as
preferred folder for saving instead of "Scrivania".
So if I go to Place->Scrivania it opens "Scrivania" and I can't find
downloaded files.

I have no USB audio devices, my soundcard is a creative 5.1 which is usually
alright with multiple aplications (besides It gives the error when there's no
other apps running) I have an ac 97 built into the motherboard, it was disable
in bios already but I tried deactivating it through the sound
confirmed on Hardy Alpha 6

I see reading the autorun.inf has been implemented in hardy. I get the
following error dialog when the program being autorun is a .exe:

Are any of you getting crash reports? There seems to be plenty of people
with this issue but nobody has able to provide a crash report.
Maybe a developer can try and trigger the crash themselves. It is very

Thanks for the clarification, just asked because of a doubt as you
called backtrace full after it said "Program terminated with signal
SIGKILL, Killed. The program no longer exists." This might be a reason
for you not to get a backtrace. Can you provide the xsession-errors at
least?

me when I logged in and I noticed they were not where I placed them. But this
