IMO this behaviour defeats the purpose of IMAP. The main reason for
using IMAP, at least in my case, is to have my mail in sync, wherever I
am. With Evolution I have to download heaps of "deleted" messages to my
cell phone just because Evolution can't get it right.

Using GtkComposeTable in GTK applications confuses some users, because
compose sequences then work differently depending on the application's
GUI framework. A kind of low-level distinction of applications, that I
believe the general user not should need to make. Shouldn't it work the

Well I found why it is happening, but I cannot explain it.
In the asfdemux plugin in gstreamer the framerate is set bizarrely if
not known. The code from gstasfdemux.c in the
gst_asf_demux_process_chunk function shows why 5fps:

no, that's a wishlist and not a bug, nautilus is getting of changes
upstream to use gio and gvfs and such work should rather be directed to
the new code and the ubuntu team doesn't have the ressources to work on

Binary package hint: nautilus
After a boot Places menu shortcuts where gone and bookmarks in nautilus
were corrupted. All bookmarks are gone for good. I assume gconf registry
gets corrupted due to unclean boot and it's unable to
1) Report that the registry is corrupted

I had to do a backtrace in gdb when nautilus was already running,
because when I run nautilus in the console, nautilus creates other
processes and exits in the console right away, and then I can't
backtrace anything.

i have a trends usb sound card and i have the same problem. however, setting
the volume trough "$ alsamixer -c 1" works perfectly.
at the moment i'm using that instead of gnome-mixer applet.
where can i find some instructions of how to test the patch and compile
the new package?
