To solve this bug, click right mouse button, and click Input Method and
choose SCIM. So you can type in SCIM.
But I think it is very serious bug, because every people who are using
SCIM could be meet this problem. And maybe some of them could not found
Input Method in Menu, to solve this problem.
The problem is not resolved. While gst-launch gets the aspect ratio
correct all the time, totem doesn't. When set to "automatic", it
distorts most but not all films from 4:3 to something super-wide like
8:3 (estimated, but wider than 16:9).
Manual setting of the aspect ratio to 4:3 sometimes helps

i have the same problem on a fresh gutsy setup. when i unplug the cable
applications have about a 30 second start delay. as soon as i plug the cable

I think I have a similar problem with all applications: they don't
maximize to the full screen, only to a part of the screen. Occasionally
(OK, frequently), they resize themselves, either they snap to the real
fullscreen, or they snap back from the fullscreen to the partial
fullscreen.

When using the mouse wheel over the volume control applet to change the volume,

You may be onto something there. I have not had any crashes in Gutsy since
I initiated the restricted drivers. Interestingly enough, I was using
restricted drivers with 7.04, and that was still giving me freeze issues.
It wasn't until I made changes suggested by |V|isterX in the Ubuntu forums

Gstreamer fails to autodetect the correct video output on my hardware
and ALL the videos (xvid, ogg theora, wmv) are only displayed in black &
White, with both Totem and Vlc players.. Compiz is not related to this
bug (it also happens when it is disabled).
Perhaps it would make sense then for the gnome libs to provide an http
access function that does understand the automatic settings? Or does it
exist already, meaning that gweather-applet-2 needs to changed to make
use of it?
