Just setting/unsetting a key in gconf won't start a daemon. That's what
the session bit does -- it watches the gconf key, and starts a daemon if

To fix the problem for real libgtkspell should be using a weak reference
to the GtkTextView object, so that when the GtkTextView is destroyed

I wasn't using XGL. Simply having it installed was enough to keep me
from being able to login. I've dong a dpkg --purge xserver-xgl, and can
now log in as expected. I was also logging in to display 0, not 1.

resolution being used (a virtual resolution that differs from the

When using a driver that does not support compositing (such as nv, vesa,
in vmware...), the effects setting still defaults to 'normal'. Switching

Gutsy here, bogofilter installed, and it seems to work, but the spam

Hi.
This is gutsy with latest updates.
I use this [0] theme since it looks better in combination with my wallpaper.
This is only a human-theme with a color that is more brown. I still use the
normal human icons.
