I was bitten by this today when upgrading from edgy to feisty.
Installing libgnomevfs2-extra fixed it. I think I agree with Klaus
here. If the applet does not work at all without libgnomevfs2-extra, it

Currently, as of 22 September, with the latest updates this problem
doesn't seem to occur anymore. I can have Compiz enabled and use session

I am changing this to confirmed because it was evidently was not fixed.
Upon a fresh install of gutsy from a daily build (20070921.1) "apt-get
remove evolution" removes all occurrences in the menus accept for the
"Applications/Office" menu.

When I maximize any kind of windows in gnome I see that window title
becomes white. It appears after my updating xorg-driver-ati... What I am
have to do? Changing themes does not affect at this. I have VGA

I am experiencing bad video playback performance/stuttering when playing
mp4/h264 video files.
It is not a performance problem of my system, because the cpu stays more
or less idle during playback. No problem with xvid, avi or other codec
types.

All applications I know that have an icon in the system tray can show a
window when clicked, but closing that window will not make the
application quit or the icon disappear from the systray. Is it ok to

Ok, I've read other discussions on the gnome bug tracker. Not going to
surrender :) Sorry for causing trouble here, but I really think I am
