There doesn't seem to be a kubuntu-artwork package that would do it.
Definitely you need "more sophisticated dependencies for firefox". As
long as the *ubuntu-desktop packages continue to state: "It is safe to
remove this package if some of the desktop system packages are not
desired.", packages

The absence of kubuntu-docs is your problem. It is installed
automatically with kubuntu (as a dependency of kubuntu-desktop).
Ian, do we need more sophisticated dependencies for firefox? And, any
idea why his manual homepage isn't working?

Hi auspex, thanks for your comments. Can you please state:
What version of Kubuntu are you using?
What version of kubuntu-docs do you have installed?
Thanks.

Not sure if this is directly related or not, but I get this error every
time I start Firefox, and it's almost annoying enough to make me dump
firefox.
"Firefox can't find the file at /usr/share/ubuntu-

This would be true. I have no ubuntu-artwork (I'm a kubuntu user).
i`ve just upgraded my dapper install at home, and the bad link appeared again

This is the problem. But I don't know whether it was caused by a bug

Hi, i've got this issue in some different machines.
on the first machine: 1- ubuntu 5.04 upgraded to 5.10 then upgraded to
kubuntu (here was the first problem with firefox homepage) i tracked down and
it was a bad link...
on the second machine, started as ubuntu 5.10 upgraded to kubuntu sam
Please show us the output of
update-alternatives --display firefox-homepage
What is the update history of the system involved ?
Daniel: I don't think we should move files around just to make the name agree
with the package name.

Reassigning to mozilla-firefox-locale-all, which defines the firefox homepage.
Ian, can you deal with this bug?
@Daniel - yeah, we really need to work out a nice clean way of doing this, but
the problem of dealing nicely with derivatives is causing a lot of difficulty
right now.

This is a ubuntu-docs bug. Can we install stuff to /usr/share/ubuntu-
docs/ for edgy? It's confusing to install to ubuntu-artwork and doesn't
make much sense, does it?
