You did mention the "Add applications" point before, you opened a bug on
gnome-menus which is the wrong package if you want to bug gnome-app-
install, I'm opening a task assigned to the right package

Keep in mind this started as a bug against the "Add Applications" tool
(the point about the main menu was an aside) but I assume that has been
fixed too.
