Could it be that rhythmbox has a lower priority than other music applications?
And is it normal that scrolling triggers CPU usage? I think the graphic card

Confirmed on fresh install of Ubuntu Intrepid.
Using gnome-volume-control, the sound for capture must be put close to
max to hear the sound properly.
Also, like another said Selecting Pulse Audio Server solves the problem.

ubuntu? Could one say they are generally only fixed in the next release
(in this case intrepid) or for the current release, too?
Or: Should I be quite if I found a bug in Hardy that is fixed in
Intrepid but gets on my nerves?
Is this fixed in Hardy? I think I found a similar (the same?) bug on a

I've had the same experience as Cliff Hall; however I'm using
SoundJuicer 2.22 with Ubuntu 8.04 (beta).
The xingmux parameter makes no difference to how the CD rips--I still

This is probably caused by bug in libtracker.
tracker_connect return not-null value even if tracker daemon is not installed.
That means, that nautilus will always try to use tracker instead of built-in
search.

I had this bug as well, with my synaptics touchpad. I understand the
mouse and touchpad settings are different, but I'm going with my
experience from Fedora where adjusting the mouse speed fixed the speed
immediately for the touchpad.
For Ubuntu, I resolved it by adjusting AccelFactor with synclie
