Steps to reproduce:
1) Open gedit
2) Go to git directory
3) Change a tracked file (file.c)
4) Execute "git add file.c"
5) Set gedit as default editor with "git config --global core.editor gedit"
5) Then "git commit"

Same problem with Ubuntu 12.04 x64.
I don't think it's a wishlist or low priority bug, since it directly
affects all users. Most of us are patient, but this bug won't help
solving bug#1 (aka Microsoft market share)

I have positive count numbers in my search folders despite there being
no content in them. The count does not change if I toggle "hide hidden
messages". I am using evolution 2.24.2-0ubuntu1 on Kubuntu Intrepid, and

the "Find in message" option of evolution does not do anything. No
search box is brought up when either the "Find" is selected under the
"Edit" menu or when the Ctrl+Shift+F

In hardy, the login screen is always QWERTY. As soon as I log in, it
switches to AZERTY (France) but I have to remember my password on a
foreign keyboard and that's not fun. I see nowhere to configure this.
