The window was partially visible on one screen, but did not re-position
when the screen was re-positioned. The windows title bar was not
visible, and as such the window could not be moved or re-positioned so

When I upgraded to Ubuntu Artful Aardvark 17.10 the screen booted up in zoom
mode and it scrolled whenever I moved the mouse. I figured out how to get the
zoom to normal size, but the mouse cursor disappeared or was invisible. If I
Of interest, I can reproduce this on Ubuntu 17.10 beta, however it
doesn't occur on Debian Stretch. However I didn't test theme settings,
and was running Pop_OS! themes at the time. Next I will see if it
occurs with stock themes.

I'm running 16.04 and attempting to use the builtin Backup program which
is a wrapper around deja-dup. I'm trying to target an SSH server for
backups, as it will use rsync block comparisons and be the most
efficient. However, the SSH server has disabled RSA public key
authentication and only suppor

By removing python-gtk2-dev, I was able to complete installation of
python, and all the other packages being help up by python. Afterwards,
it was possible to reinstall python-gtk2-dev.

I can confirm this also. xev picks up the correct key press events when
I kill gsd, and echo 40 > /sys/class/backlight/acpi_video0/brightness
works as expected.
