Wow, I'm so happy I found this! I had exactly the same problems as you
with VLC and MythTV. I've been spending weeks on this issue blameing
everyone from MythTV, nvidia, Liferea, firefox, Xorg, and pulseaudio...
I even spent time swapping video cards and drivers. My eyes finally
opened up and re

related to this problem. Chris, what is the bug number you saw this

Hello,
The solution you posted works, temporairly only. For some reason for
me the box gets checked on its own. This is on 2 computers, one
upgraded to Hardy, the other a fresh install of Hardy.

I just wanted to point out that there is an easy way to get the numpad
back to normal when this bug occurs. Just hold Shift and press NumLock.

Numeric keypad no longer works after upgrade
https://bugs.launchpad.net/
I'm seeing this issue on a fresh install of Hardy as well as an upgrade
from Gutsy. It's actually worse on the fresh install, the check box
gets ticked intermittently while I'm logged in (i.e. no rebooting
necessary to trigger it). At the present time:
gconftool-2 --get /desktop/gnome/accessibil
I upgraded from Gutsy. Disabling the setting "allow to control pointer
using keyboard" is not always persistant on my box. Sometimes I'll
reboot and the setting witll stay disabled, other times I'll reboot and
the setting will be re-enabled. Definitely a bug somewhere here..

Whoa! It sure does look exactly like the bug at the Gnome site. I run
a dual head setup as well. Thanks for this information, I'll be
upgrading to Gutsy as soon as it's released!! LINUX ROCKS

Since it's happening so frequently here's another backtrace.. There's
plenty more where this came from! =P~ It's the same type of crash

I don't know what's going on but gnome-panel crashes with randomness

There is no one thing that I do to make it crash, it just crashes at
random while I am doing things. It c
This is a problem in Feisty as well. Surprised no one reported it yet.
I have tons of duplicate entries for programs and only one or 2 of them
work. Mostly I have duplicates for video files, basically it was any
type of file where I added a custom program.
