I'm seeing this issue on a fresh install of Hardy as well as an upgrade from Gutsy. It's actually worse on the fresh install, the check box gets ticked intermittently while I'm logged in (i.e. no rebooting necessary to trigger it). At the present time:
gconftool-2 --get /desktop/gnome/accessibility/keyboard/mousekeys_enable false As soon as it happens again I will make another post with the output.
