after disabling "templates" plugin, evolution seemed to work again.

I have this same problem. Managed to take a backtrace. I hope this
helps, because the problem is very irritating.
In this trace, I simply started evolution and right clicked a mail
message.

Thanks Rui, it indeed seems to depend on buffering.
I noticed that if I pause the youtube stream for too long, I get "Could not
read from resource." error.
I would quess that the server thinks that the connection is interrupted and
breaks the connection.
Anyway, which component handles the buff
I have also some nuisance with Totem and Youtube. It seems to me that
Totem buffers the stream in real-time. If I pause the player, the stream
ceases as Dylan said. And when I start again, the transfer rate tries to
adjust to the player data consumption rate.
