I just bumped this kind of problem with a certain ftp server myself. Nautilus won't connect to the site and shows "Sorry, could not display all the contents of "/ on $myserver": Could not connect to host"
I can connect to the server with command line FTP as well as with Filezilla. Many other ftp servers work ok with Nautilus, though. Should this bug be re-opened? I would like very much for all ftp servers to work out-of-the-box.
