I found a workaround for .thunderbird. I put a character before the
dot, copied it into the home directory, then renamed it after the
transfer had completed the copy. No problem, as Thunderbird had never
been fired up, so I didin't need to rename/delete an existing directory.

The call is in camel-sasl-oauth2-google.c, but I don't know where it
gets the URL string that needs changing. I guess I'd do the fix, if I
understood a bit more! How long is that going to take someone who knows

think this is the problem at the root of the bug I have reported here.
The fact that is impossible to prevent the password manager from storing

A bit more information I ought to have included. The only difference
between the two previous installations is the password/seahorse password
requirement. In the new installation, Evolution is unable to access the
Google account even though this is made available to Evolution in
'Online Accounts'

open the iso, but the blank disk is not available to write (greyed out).

On using 'copy' function, 'select disk to copy' dialogue box is empty.
Clicking on dialogue box brings up the details of the disc in the drive,
but this almost always disappears when clicking the copy button. Odd
times, it works. I have uninstalled and re-installed Brasero 3
nly crashes
when launched from a faulty Unity window. I think the problem will be
resolved when the Unity/Compiz bug is sorted. I've tried to run Natty
on four different computers so far, and all show slight variations on
the same problem. If I can help, I will.

I feel that this bug is directly linked to a range of Compiz/Unity
issues due to Nouveau. For me, the click on the Ubuntu icon, (top panel
left-hand side), gives a window with a black outline and no menus or
close 'x' button. This seems to be the above bug issue.

Nautilus runs fine - except when it is launched from the Unity shell. I
suspect that this is caused by the Compiz/Unity problem in Natty well
reported elsewhere. Apport wouldn't let me report this except under
