Hi,
Sorry for the late reply - installed and tried a bunch of stuff - so
rather did a fresh install with nothing added to complete the tests for
you.
This round I did not even add the extension to disable unredirect as per
the bug you linked - so just ran the video in a window - and it is still

All autopkgtests for the newly accepted librsvg (2.59.2+dfsg-1~1ubuntu24.10.1)
for oracular have finished running.
The following regressions have been reported in tests triggered by the package:
conky/unknown (amd64)
ffmpeg/unknown (amd64)
formiko/unknown (amd64)
gnome-mastermind/unknown (ppc64el
I would rather this not become an entire "chicken and egg" situation,

Alessandro's patch? It would certainly provide more confidence from a
sponsorship point of view.

Thanks.
After downloading and trying to install the 6 .deb files, there is a

I completely forgot; any compositor can stutter at multiples of 5-10
seconds if it is writing log messages to disk. Because journaling file
systems will only buffer 5-10 seconds worth of writes before they block
the process to commit changes to disk. And that takes longer than a
frame interval so a
I'm not sure whether fallback to GeoIP is working at all. For me with
enabled automatic timezone and locations services in Ubuntu 24.04 I have
never seen timezone change during my travels.
As an alternative to Mozilla geolocation service there are at least 2

Verified that I could reproduce the bug following the test plan in Ubuntu
22.04.5 LTS.
Installed xwayland=2:22.1.1-1ubuntu0.15.
Verified that I could not reproduce the bug anymore following the test plan: no
high CPU usage, and x11 apps still work as expected.
