On Ubuntu 23.10 VNP, could you confirm that NVIDIA driver is installed in the
system?
They might be running on Nouveau especially the apt repository for 23.10 is now
unavailable.
I can reproduce the issue on 23.10 after changing sources to old-

@Yao, thanks for the investigation.
As you know, the screen flicker when entering suspend exists for several

I don't think those exist; you typically want an iGPU for the low power
consumption.
But, if they did exist they'd be rare enough for us to be unable to find anyone
to verify the test plan.
In any case a laptop would trace all t
Public bug reported:
Setting org.gnome.desktop.datetime automatic-timezone to true seems to
have no effect. This is because location services is disabled. This is
unintuitive - a toggle should do what it advertises or be blocked when
the system is in a state that will cause the toggle to not work
Thanks for working on this, sounds like getting to the bottom of it was

I added some more steps to the test plan to make sure that this actually

If you use a 12 hour or AM/PM clock, the lock screen clock is sometimes
misaligned with respect to the date below it - it's not centered.

I'm confused here, because there's a fix released gnome-shell-extension-
appindicator task, so why do we have a gnome-shell task as well, and how
do their test cases differ, surely if the extension is fixed, the test

This disables clones for override-redirect windows, and it's not
immediately clear to me what override redirect windows are, and why the
regression potential of that change is limited to tray icons not
appearing at all - are override-redirect windows only used for tray
icons?

I'm missing two test cases here:
1) Check that there are no regressions on systems without smart card reader
setup
2) Check on a mixed system, where some users login with smartcard and some
without that both work adequately.
The 2nd case is quite tricky and has been broken for a long time, but
