I was initially tracking down a libvirt bug [1], but happened to realize it is
actually a general systemd issue.

Actually stand corrected, after a couple of restarts PRIME Synchronization is
now working.
So until you all can provide nvidia thru Wayland X11 sessions Should be
allowed..

Don't see it crashing X11 session here at all, 17.10 -

Due to a logic error, the Night Light transition is a lot more abrupt than the
gradual transition that was intended. This has been fixed in the gnome-3-24 git
branch.
Night Light is a new feature in GNOME 3.24 (Ubuntu 17.04) to redden the
display during night
Ubuntu bug 1685754 seems specific to gnome-terminal. The bug I reported
is for all gnome-session apps. Gnome-terminal can be made to work if a
umask is added to .bashrc. This is not the case for other gnome apps
like gedit. These bugs may be the same, but I don't know enough to be
able to make that

Marco, if you want to work on GNOME Shell theming, I'd suggest that you
talk with Florian about how he suggests Ubuntu handle this. Both Solus
and Pop!_OS simply enable the user-themes extension by default so maybe
that's what Ubuntu will need to do too, even if GNOME is hesitant to
enable it by de

A workaround for my gvim-based hang is to not have gvim open on the
sshfs when I suspend. I don't have that option with gsd-housekeeping, so
I basically have to unmount sshfs before suspend, which breaks
everything else (eg. open bash prompts). Using "sshfs -o reconnect"
works fine except for this.
I'm also hitting this with:
