Public bug reported: Pkg version: iio-sensor-proxy 2.2-0ubuntu1
My system: Hewlett-Packard HP ENVY m6 Notebook PC/18A5, BIOS F.25 OS: Dual boot. Primary HDD Win 8.1, SSD UbuntuGNOME 17.04 (via DVD drive slot adapter). Problem. After around 2-3 hours (for any user session), the Primary screen will black out for a second, then return rotated 90 degrees anti- clockwise. The only solution is to kill x and start again. (note also that system will hang on shutdown and sometimes suspend, dmesg errors pointing to iio-sensor-proxy process holding up.- will report this seperately, but it's likely that the problems are linked) ** Affects: iio-sensor-proxy (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to iio-sensor-proxy in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1702813 Title: Screen rotates 90 degrees after approx. 2 hour user session.
