Disagree on the approach of restoring the numlock state from when
machine was last shut down. This can result in users seeing an

I disagree with the decision to close this (and move it to Ubuntu
Brainstorm). The problem is specific: "text doesn't re-wrap when you
resize a Terminal window," and there is only one logical solution:
"rewrap the text when the window is resized." I think this is a great
candidate for a "wishlist

As of gnome-power-manager 2.32.0-0ubuntu1 I can successfully login.
There are some problems with appearance of gnome panel, namely it
ignores current theme set in appearance settings (System > Preferences >
Appearance). The problem vanishes when I go to appearance settings (just
opening the dialog,

2) View>everything unticked
3) View>Arrange Items>Manually
4) Maximize
and you've got a new, multiple, folding, mobile Desktop.

mails, especially those going through Yahoo account. Sometimes, it worked,
sometimes not, without any change in between. Mails simply remained stuck in
outbox.
