all I did was to follow the solution for this bug...
cd /etc/modprobe.d
sudo gedit alsa-base.conf
added the following lines in the end

If you go to Places>Connect to server and attempt to connect, do you
have the same behavior? Do you know what ssh server is on the router?
I would guess dropbox, but knowing for sure might be helpful.

while. I remember at that time my computer was using a lot swap space -
I think it may have been the problem. Since that I added another memory

Here's a git diff for UK and US English, its based on the gnome git of
gnome-panel. I'd do some more but I really need to write a script to
automate adding the key combination. I'm also not sure how key
combinations are reperesented in languages that use a different
character set such as cryllic.

Clicking out should preserve what has been written, like clicking 'enter'

That'll be why there's no panel or desktop, because your config is
broken. Could you please post the output of "gconftool-2 -R
/desktop/gnome/session". Could you also try logging in with a fresh
user?
