I cannot confirm it with Okular 4.1.2, which also uses poppler. This means it

after some more analysis we came to the conclusion that the removal of
the threads enter/leave pair is the best choice given pida's
architecture
we where unable to figure why the different gtk/pygtk versions act so different
on that pair,
but the removal of it fixes the issues
due to pida's arch
After a fresh install everything worked fine again. So I hereby mark
this as invalid.
If anyone else has this problem, I will start it again, just post a
comment.

No, this is completely different from those bugs-- fixing bug 124993
just gives the admin the opportunity to work around this bug, by
manually checking all the existing uid's. That shouldn't be necessary,
because a smart system should warn the admin automatically.

I am now seeing this bug again in intrepid. Attaching a screenshot and
the output from lshal. In the screenshot you can view the two SD card

Hi,
Thanks for investigating further. It seems that what is happening
is the selecting one of the pre-defined profiles, in this case "Extra"
overwrites your compiz preferences.
