up -rfakeroot and run it with sudo:

Every time I restart the computer or simply restart udev, /dev/null,
/dev/random and /dev/urandom got erroneous permissions.
I've made a fresh install of Hardy from a daily cd and doesn't have this
problem, only qhen upgarde from Gutsy.

I have this problem too, but not just with GNOME. In GNOME, the panels
don't load sometimes and alt+f2 doesn't work. I use Compiz so if I hit
super+t to get a terminal, the GTK parts of the terminal never load (and
then it goes black because it's non-responsive and Compiz knows it). If

Switcher does not cause the appropriate shortcuts to be added to the

I confirm this bug is annoying.
I used to type Control-W to erase a word, and and I have to use Control-Z.
To suspend a job on bash, I used Control-Z but now I have to type Control-W.
This bug is so annoying that I decided to reuse xterm.
