Quick update: I just noticed that Nautilus eats the memory when I open
directories and folders. The more folders/files I see, the more memory
it will use. However it will not revert back when I close everything.

I can burn to a CD-R only if I haven't tried burning a CD-RW already. If

I have switched to KDE from Gnome because Gnome was taking too long to
start up, and this did fix the problem for me. So I think it is a

If it still crash can you report it with apport? You only need to find
the .crash file located at /var/crash/ ; double click on it with
nautilus and let apport report the bug, because it still don't have
enough symbols to determine where's the problem, thanks you!.

I get the boxes when I use the hyperref in my latex documents (I don't
recall every seeing them before gutsy, but so be it). What I found is
that I can tell hyperref not to draw the boxes like so:
