2. Drag "untitled folder" to the GNOME panel.

a 26mb MySQL dump with some extremely long lines that appeared to be
typed over each other. On top of that, gedit is painfully slow in

Last time I tried it must have been Gutsy RC instead of final, that's
the only explanation I can think of why it didn't work for me before.

I have a theory...
Does anybody have Compiz Fusion turned on? What type of installation
(git, stable, or default Gutsy CF)? Can you turn off Compiz fusion or
turn off the Dbus plugin manually?
Also to note, Network manager is not telling me via bubble that I am

In the terminal you can go "Edit"->"Current Profile"->"Title and
Command" and set "When command exits" to "Hold terminal open."
Your example works for me also, so there's another work-around.
Note that I'm still new to Linux so I may just be doing something dumb

I noticed that the "set as default" settings only works if "Separate layout for
each window" is enabled.
So if you re-enable it, you will see that new windows have the "United Kingdom"
keyboard.

I get same behaviour if i try to burn an iso image.i.e burning the Gutsy
iso from Fiesty produced an unusable disc,would not boot,disc is
unreadable,approx 680MB of unintelligible used disc space.The downloaded
iso was o.k.
