If I switched to 24-bit, the Firefox loads correctly with the Human
theme. My x86 laptop has no problems in either 16-bit or 24-bit depths.

I am using 7.04 (upgraded from 6.10 and 6.4 before that) I moved from
one DHCP LAN to another and the networking did not work. I disabled
enabled networking (from gnome) still nothing even after disabling
iptables, and then tried a static address on the LAN. I was then able
to get a working

observe that top takes < 1% CPU, g-s-m takes 10-30% CPU. This isn't a

Now now, don't be so hard on the Mozilla people. I'm using Gran Paradiso
Alpha 7 right now and this bug is completely fixed. But it

for instance
Evolution color - applet color
red - yellow
green - blue
brown - violet
#BECEDD - #BECEDD (the only one that behaves correctly, which is the default
color of the Personal calendar

When I try to switch desktop with the icons on the lower right side the
lap top freezes. The only way to get it going again is a hard reboot or
soft reboot. Just upgraded to ubuntu 7.10 with the Edubuntu GUI. It has
