Using a multi-monitor setup, when deskbar-applet is behind another
window it will "follow" it to another screen. To reproduce: open
deskbar-applet so that it shows a search field, open a terminal (for
example), place it so that it overlaps and is in front of deskbar-
applet.
Uh... does upgrading work correctly then? I don't think it's wise to
simply mark the bug closed simply because you can create a new user to

I've found that it doesn't happen with all mpgs, just some that I tried.

I tried to reproduce this issue with Gutsy Bibbon Tribe 5 LiveCD.
The issue regarding bogofilter vs. bogofilter-sqlite is resolved: I
enabled the Universe repository, installed bogofilter-sqlite,
uninstalled bogofilter, and checked that the proper binary is created in
/usr/bin/bogofilter, and that
I think that if ubuntu sax.ogg isn't working then the fix isn't in
yet...I believe that the video worked all along, it was just the audio
files that were causing problems.

Hello. I think it really is a bug... I spoke with others with the same
version of Ubuntu, and they can switch to 1280x1024. My monitor supports
higher resolutions, and same is the video card (Nvidia FX5200). So, i
guess its a bug (a driver one, probably).

When playing a random mp3 file, and totem is showing some opengl visual
on the left side, moving the app over the left border of the screen

In the file manager, go to Edit-->Preferences-->Behaviou and set "Include a
Delete command that bypasses Trash"
Then you can, at least, delete the file.
