You have been subscribed to a public bug: This is using up-to-date Gutsy as of today, Sept 12, 2007. Evolution sometimes fails to retrieve iCal calendars. I've tried with both Zimbra and Google Calendar calendars.
The most reliable way I've found to reproduce it is: 1. Add one or more "On The Web" calendars to Evolution. They usually show up properly this first time. 2. Click on the clock applet, to bring up the calendar. Have the "Appointments" section expanded. 3. Look at all your lovely appointments for the day. 4. Watch as they all disappear within a couple seconds of opening the calendar. When I close and reopen the calendar, the events are all there again, and all disappear again. Sometimes the events from one calendar (I have several) survive, I've even seen one repeating event from a calendar survive. It's not consistent which one survives, if any do. If Evolution is open to the calendar view at the time, all the events disappear from that as well, at the same time they disappear from the applet. Sometimes checking and unchecking calendars causes them (not always the one I checked or unchecked) to reappear, though it usually disappears next time I change which calendars are selected. ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Low Assignee: Ubuntu Desktop Bugs Status: Incomplete -- Evolution/clock applet fails to retrieve calendars https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/139244 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
