Well, the annoyance is that possibly no one can view any videos taken by
a camera bought by ALDI, Germans largest discounter. At least not my

2. Click System->Preferences->Keyboard->Layout Options
3. Under "Ctrl Key Position" choose "Make Capslock an additional Ctrl."
4. Click OK

Well, I never had this problem with Edgy, so this is new. I installed mostly
the same applications on Feisty that I had on Edgy,
but a few were different.
My solution was to move .gconf and .gconfd to some backup directory and restart
gnome. I lost all of my settings, but things
appear to
FWIW, I had the same problem on Fedora Core 5 after an attempt to use a GUI
tool to change my hostname failed.
My /etc/hosts file was screwed up and it took several minutes for a terminal to
be displayed so I could fix it.
