clicking on the top of the window frame to... say... move the window to

Hibernate is still broken for me as of 14/4/07 with all updates applied.

I get an "internal data flow error" if I drag the progress bar (e.g., to
skip commercials). I'm running Feisty, i386, and trying to play an MPEG
file that was produced by "tivodecode". If I just sit back and let the
file play without interruption, it works fine. This happens on many
MPEG files,
I am using Tango on Feisty Fawn, however the problem also exists for
Human with all but OpenOffice, for which it uses its own icons.

Thanks for your comment, I am new to linux and I find it difficult to find

A friend told me a new version of Ubuntu is being lauched, will all these

delfick, I tried your suggestion, but it didn't work. But i have found
that having compiz-tray-icon in my startup session (which is part if
gnome-compiz-manager) was causing that line to be added to .gnomerc.
Now login seems to work properly, albeit, i do get a black screen for
about 10-15 seconds
YAY! :D
deleting the .gnomerc and .gnomerc~ files fixed it for me :D
thankyou cbudden for letting us know of a fix...
as for your problem still remaining, see if deleting .gnomerc~ as well
fixes it ???

After having rebooted, I found that my .gnomerc file was repopulated
with export WINDOW_MANAGER=~/.gnome-compiz-manager/openbox after logging

Well this is interesting. I rechecked Synaptic to see if possibly
another update to nVidia had been added and I found that there was. I
downloaded the update and rebooted my machine and the aforementioned
'appearance' was still there; no window frames, mouse cursor wrong on

This causes the drivemount-applet to stop working when you relogin
because it does not get the right dbus env variable from bonobo-
activation-server which makes it impossible to communicate with the
