I am using Gnome. After todays updates, I cannot get the window
decorations to work. The only way I can do so is by going to virtual terminal
(ALT+F1) or (CTRL+ALT+F1) and typing there DISPLAY=:0 metacity --replace &
This was Ubuntu 6.10. It was only that one time that my sound device
couldn't be opened (I think some non-Ubuntu app was accessing the device
directly and blocked it), so I don't know where else it might happen.

Yes, I think that's all.
However (and I'm not sure if I should file a seperate bug for this or
not), the new 16x16 icons appear to be just resized while the old 16x16
icons seem to be manually tweaked so they look good at such a low
resolution. You can see this if you right click in nautilus, the
2.0.3 is very old : we're releasing 2.0.9 in a few days!

Happens with every movie that has subs in the sub/idx format. these subs
consists of two files: a .sub and an .idx file. A rip made with dvd-rip
outputs this format for example.
Other subtitle formats like .sub or .srt work fine with totem-gstreamer.

Nobody has this problem? I tried deleting the printer, making sure
/etc/papersizes was set to letter, also set to default to letter in the
printer properties plus then reinstalled the printer, but the same thing
is happening. The strange thing is that it is also happening in print
preview.

Upon pressing logout, the screen turns black but the login screen does

Not at all... the black screen is gone, but the patch applied to the
package makes a 'glitch' while closing tabs or even worse: when I do a
right-click in the terminal, before the menu appearance, there is a ugly
glitch with mixed colours. Quite disturbing.

other USB devices, we don't get any status update or anything. Just

ay i tried to reproduce the "bug" by reinstalling the mentioned gnome
theme .deb package. The Reinstallation went well this time with no
system halt or other problems. The theme works so far with no visible
graphic bugs or else.
I did a memory check (3 passes) with the built-in memory checkup tool

Note that this is a very low priority bug, and probably should be for
upstream; the program is incorrect in how it uses the API, and should
throw an error regardless (no initialization of Gtk2 has been done). A
