I don't get the error message if I play through the attached HTML file.

* Did you start the suspend via the Logout Dialog?
* After waiting 5 - 15 minutes (depends on the initial conditions) did the
Logout Dialog appear?

I found Xarchiver to be a capable replacement.
It doesn't drag & drop as well, but at least you can press the 'extract' button
and actually have some files extracted.
With file-roller there is currently -no way- to extract files.
You can't drag & drop, clicking the extract button brings up a di

I can confirm this bug. PS. The location entry is always displayed here.
The only way to get archive-manager to extract any file is to move up a
directory and back down.
This sums it up:
- you can't drag and drop
- you can't use the 'extract' button
Conclusion:
- 99% of the users won't be
I linked this with gnome-desktop too, because it seems to be a GUI
problem. At least, someone there should know where to look next. I still
don't know who's responsible for the shutdown dialog.

Hi all,
Disabling the ESD in Sound Preferences fixes NXSERVER logon problem
(white or grey square and long wait) for me too.
I also noticed that the ESD must be disabled in all user profiles you
use to connect using NXSERVER.

This happens only with dial-up connections (56k). I
am assuming it freezes when it is downloading my
large IMAP files and inbox. However, neither
Netscape nor Mozilla have a problem with this when
using dial-up.

gnome-terminal will segfault if you start it with a --geometry string
that includes a width and height. Position does not affect it.
To reproduce:
gnome-terminal --geometry=80x25
This is version 2.17.92 from feisty.

I confirm that It does not work at all under Feisty. I think this is a
too bad regression because it is really anti-ergonomic: without this
feature managing archives is not at all user-friendly. This kind of
misfeature might even make some people leave Ubuntu I think...

To know if that's the same bug you can look the functions from the crash
file. The new comment mentions gsr_window_new () first where the bug
described happens to the gm_audio_profile_get_pipeline () function

Thank you for your bug. What version of the rhythmbox package do you
use? Does it happen only with the panel icon or from the rhythmbox UI
also? Do you have any error if you run rhythmbox from the command line?
Could you try with the "-d" option and not errors printed then?

This problem is back with a herd 4 plus a dist upgrade done today.
I agree the differences in icons and labels is very confusing and does
need correcting.
I do not remember seeing this after the herd 4 install.
