Metacity pulls non-focused windows out of fullscreen mode (unless the
focus is on a *transient* (e.g. dialog) of the fullscreen application).
This allows users to still recover if a fullscreen app hangs or if the
user simply wants to do something else for a minute. So, this is
expected behavior.
I get this too with CVS build of RB on Edgy, and the same version works fine on
Dapper. Looks like something is causing a deadlock..

works on dapper.
When you add a profile it's created with the information you have at the
moment. When you do changes, you don't modify the selected profile but the
running session. To store the changes to add profile

Confirmed. g-p-m can see the event, it's even in it's event log:
"GNOME interactive logout because the power button has been pressed". It
just has no effect on the system.
