I have tried Dapper Drake Ubuntu + 2.6.15-19-686 and have a serious problem
browsing my samba server on a FreeBSD box. Here are the open files (using ssh

I changed the permissions to what the file recommended.
There is a good chance this might have been caused by something maybe nautilus

It works when quitting by the systray with the program maximized, but
when you click on the systray (minimize) and select the quit item from

The problem was probably caused by dist-upgrade, or not booting between upgrade
and dist upgrade.
I installed from scratch using "Ubuntu Dapper Flight 6 i386 install CD", then
ran "sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get -y upgrade", rebooted, and gdm screen

The ressource issue is rather a message about a sink rather than about the DVD.
Dapper uses gstreamer0.10 so the gstreamer0.8-dvd package will be of no use.
totem-gstreamer with gstreamer0.10 doesn't do DVD playing for now (it plays the
movie but doesn't have menus nor subtitles features by exam
