Having the same problem on a fresh Dapper Flight install (AMD64).
Applet is always empty, even after deleting items. NOTE: Delete command that
bypasses wastebasket is NOT enabled here.
If I use Nautilus to go to ~/.Trash, the items previously deleted are there,
though the trash applet does not

1: Create a file with gedit. Type some things in it, and save it to ~/test
2: Open ~ in nautilus
3: Right click on test and click
I should note that the system gets unresponsive and requires I reset the power
if Evolution is left open very long. I have been closing Evolution down
periodically, and this behaviour has disappeared (but not a solution). See the

I can confirm this.

In my case I have used ssh-add in gnome-terminal to set up the agent. gnome-vfs
has never before wanted me to enter a passphrase after I've done that and I can

I can confirm this behavior in dapper and agree with the reporter that it is
not ideal. When natilus crashes in whatever situation it always starts with a
file browser window of your home folder, which is slightly odd. I wanted to

Oops! Yes, I did install Beagle some time ago, and then uninstall it. And yes,
I have a .beagle directory. Removing it from my home dir solves the problem.

I am no longer able to reproduce this (up-to-date dapper). Comment #5 upstream
suggests a patch was made, but then the discussion goes on to a related issue.
If others can confirm this we should close it.
