If beagle left a lock that's a beagle issue, feel free to bug the beagle package with some datas about it. Better if the issue is easy to get after installing and removing beagle again, it might have been a transitionnal bug fixed since too -- [Dapper] Nautilus' search doesn't works without beagle https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/38646
