Would anyone bind uploading compiz 0.5.0.dfsg-2? It fixes two rather
important dependency issues that seem to cause a lot of problems for people.
Cheers,

Hi,
I've been meaning to lend a hand to the XSF for quite some time now and after
some discussion with David Nusinow on IRC I decided to go ahead and attempt
to package xterm 212. The results can be found here[0]. The packaging is the
same as for xterm-210 and I've only added a couple of patches t

Hi all,
I've been working on getting compiz to work for the past few days. So far
I've only been able to successfully build it, using a fresh checkout of the
git repository at freedesktop.org[1].
However there seem to be some major issues when running compiz. At first,
compiz would complain about

bc6. At least that did the trick for me. I guess the
libc people did on purpose upload a libc 2.3.999 which would make packages
built against it depend on 2.4-1 so that those packages would be
uninstallable. But I'm just guessing. Downgrading should solve your problem.

I've fixed this, libcompiz.so is now installed into the
/usr/lib/libgnome-window-settings1 directory. It looks as if the "move key"

Hi all,
I've been doing some patch auditing for the additional patches I used for
building the xorg-server currently in experimental. I first checked which ones
have already been applied upstream in git, and which have not. If patches
haven't been applied upstream, I've tried taking a closer look

Hi all,
just wanted to comment a bit on the current state of packaging. What I have
imported is a recent checkout (from this morning). David Reveman has just
announced that he'll release a version 0.2 sometime soon, so for the meantime
I had to stick with git checkouts, but once there's a release

Hi all,
I've just noticed that most of the XSF packages don't ship with a watch-file.
Now, I know that some people don't like watch-files and other do, so I wanted
to ask what the XSF's stance was.
I have already talked to Drew Parsons about this on IRC, and he referred me
to the XSF todo list[0]
