Hi,
I'm running debian testing on Acer travelmate 354TE which has:
:01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Trident Microsystems CyberBlade/i1 (rev

locks up entire box,

Hi,
xserver version 4.3.0-7 (testing distribution) crashes, when launched
on a kernel with exec-shield (by Ingo Molnar) patch applied. Always can
reproduce that. Previos version of X server from testing (4.2.1) didn't
have any problem with exec-shield

BTW, xserver SEGVecs on /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/fonts/libbitmap.a, if I
rename this file, then xserver doesn't crash, instead it complains about
unability to load base modules and exits witout SEGV.
Thank you for your help.
Have a nice day!
