The issue presented here was addressed in patch #214:
add modifyOtherKeys resource, analogous to the modifyCursorKeys resource. This
applies to keys that normally would transmit nothing when a given modifier is
applied (request by Dan Nicolaescu).

I am running squeeze and a recent upgrade make my X window hangs on
start up, The screen dies, no log message can be found in the file.
i am using the default configuration coming from the installation, it
used to work fine. Xserver-xorg version 1.7.7 , Laptop Acer Travelmate

1. I instal Debian base system without desktop.
2. Install GDM through aptitude from stable rep.
3. Reboot.
After boot GDM doesn't start. Appears xserver error: xserver not found.
Installing xserver-xorg and xfonts-base packages solve problem. G

Hi,
Thank you for your help, I cannot get the X log or gdm log, every
time it hangs , I have to force the machine to reboot and gdm/X log
don't have anything from last try. I have here the dmesg though, i
cannot get any clue from it. However, I will keep trying to get more
sensible logs.
